The National Guidelines for the Prevention, Treatment and Care of Viral Hepatitis 2023 is Nigeria’s official clinical and public health reference for preventing, diagnosing, treating and managing viral hepatitis, particularly hepatitis B and C. It provides standardized recommendations for healthcare workers, programme managers and policymakers on testing, vaccination, treatment, patient monitoring, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, referral and integrated service delivery.
