Vision

A Nigeria where HIV, Viral Hepatitis and STIs are effectively prevented, diagnosed, treated and controlled.

Mission

To provide national leadership for prevention, treatment, care, laboratory, strategic information and health systems strengthening.

Mandate

To coordinate the health-sector response to HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis and STIs through policies, guidelines, programme coordination, capacity building, data systems and stakeholder engagement.
